Inter-office envelopes should be address by the city you want to send the interoffice to. This should be followed by the department you want. The last bit of information needed should be the name of the person you are sending the inter-office to. For example: Bakersfield, 总务, Teresa Hernandez. Failure to include this information may result in the delay of inter-office mail being sent to the intended recipient in a timely matter.
Typically, the timeframe will be a business day for mail/inter-office sent within Bakersfield. 然而, some mail/inter-office might arrive the same day depending on if the stop will be done later on in the day. Usually, mail/inter-office being sent to other cities will take two-three business days. If the mail being sent to outlying areas happens on a Friday, the time frame may be longer than two-three days.
The cities/towns that currently receive mail are: Taft, 讲诉, 德拉诺, 湖伊莎贝拉, Ridgecrest, 莫哈韦和拉蒙特. If mail/inter-office needs to be sent to a specific department not in the aforementioned cities, that department will need to be contacted directly.

It does not matter which way the mail is sent over as long as the mail is consistent throughout the stack (all mail is either sealed or flaps up). It is also important to make sure any stamped mail is put into another stack separate from outgoing mail that needs to be stamp. It is also a good idea to leave room on the upper right-hand side and bottom of any mail being sent out. This ensures that postage meter has enough room to stamp the mail. Leaving room at the bottom also always the United States Post Office room to sort out mail by the bar code they input at the bottom of the outgoing mail.
